General Information

Clascoterone, sold under the brand name Winlevi, is a novel antagonist of androgen receptors. Clascoterone works by blocking the androgen receptor signaling cascades that promote acne pathogenesis, such as sebaceous gland proliferation, excess sebum production, and inflammatory pathways.
