General Information

Desvenlafaxine is used for the treatment of major depressive disorder. It belongs to the class of substances termed SNRIs ‘ selective serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors. These substances augment the signaling of serotonin and norepinephrine in the central nervous system, causing elevated mood.
